Michael Curry . . . Educational Therapist/Consultant/Instructor: Michael has worked for over 30 years in the field of education, with 10 years experience as both an elementary and secondary classroom teacher. For the past 20 years he has run his educational therapy practice specializing in math remediation and acceleration for students from kindergarten through college, and for the past 10 years directed the EBK summer math camp program. He also instructed for the Making Math Real Institute starting in 2002. Michael consults with schools, clinics, and parents to help them design and implement effective math programs.
David Freedman . . . has over 30 years experience as an educator. He has been a classroom teacher, learning specialist and staff developer in the Berkeley Unified School District. David has been supporting children with learning differences in his private practice since 2003 using a multi-sensory, incremental approach.
Maureen Millerick . . . Special Educator/Educational Therapist: Maureen has over 20 years experience in a wide variety of classroom settings from K-12. She has supported families in a private practice capacity for the past 5 years. Maureen has a M.Ed in Education with an emphasis in Brain Smart learning. She is currently employed by Pleasanton Unified School District as a Resource Specialist.
TLC Services . . . is a local, independent, woman-owned, Oakland-based enterprise that provides administration and business services to artists and educators.
